Tonya has worked in the publishing industry for more than a decade as an editor, copyeditor, and project manager. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and a native of Chicago.

Tonya fled the frigid north for sunny Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband and their very spoiled cat, Sasha. In her free time, she enjoys movies, football (go Bears), travel, and eating at Austin’s many wonderful restaurants.







If I weren’t a writer/editor I would be:  a documentary filmmaker.

My morning routine is:  pretending it’s not morning. I’m a total night owl.

I most admire: my mom and dad, for being the ultimate examples of unconditional love.

My superpower is: knowing a lot of random trivia.
