DAVID

David’s first job in publishing was in Paris, working on an English encyclopedia/dictionary at Librairie Larousse. After an eight-year interlude of graduate study in anthropology and archaeology, he began a career in higher education publishing. He has had extensive and varied experience developing products in the humanities and social sciences. He has also developed significant first-edition titles in information processing, art history, American history, African-American history, music history, anthropology, sociology, and English composition.

David and his wife live in Katonah, New York. He sings in Charis Chamber Voices, a local choral group, and volunteers at Neighbor’s Link as an ESL tutor.

If I weren’t a writer/editor I would be: an archaeologist.

My morning routine is: procrastinating over a cup of coffee.

I most admire: my wife.

My superpower is: narrative organization.
